Prof Tu’uhevaha Kaitu’u-Lino is co-lead of the Translational Obstetrics Group and Deputy Head of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Newborn Health (Mercy) at the University of Melbourne. Her team have a long-standing focus on identifying novel predictive biomarkers and therapeutics for pregnancy complications.  Currently an ARC Future Fellow, Tu’uhe also has a ‘reverse translation’ research program focused on investigating the role of novel biomarkers in placental development and disease pathogenesis.
