Jerome has worked as a Veterinarian at Monarto Safari Park since 2010 and enjoys the constant learning that comes with specialising as a generalist with the challenges of treating all variety of mammalian, avian and reptilian patients.

His interest in reproductive management of large carnivores was peaked in 2019 when he attended a workshop in large felid reproduction in South Africa, and he has helped to manage Monarto’s successful breeding programs including African lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas and African wild dogs. Jerome also runs his own Afterhours service for livestock in the Adelaide hills and is a busy father of 3 young daughters.
