Andrea Rita Horvath, MD, phd, frcpath (UK), FRCPA is Director of Chemical Pathology in New South Wales Health Pathology at Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney. She had multiple national and international leadership roles including chairing the Committee on evidence-based laboratory medicine for 6 years in the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, President of the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine; and Member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry. Her key research interests and passion are evidence-based laboratory medicine, biomarker evaluation, guideline development and harmonization of laboratory practices.
